How DragonGuard Works

It does not just ask if you are safe until payday. It checks what happens after payday.

DragonGuard looks across multiple paycheck windows to help show what money may be safe to spend, what bills are protected, what is still left to protect, and whether a future shortfall may be coming before it reaches you.

01

Look beyond the next payday

DragonGuard evaluates more than one paycheck window so a bill due after payday does not become a hidden surprise.

02

Protect obligations first

Upcoming bills, buffers, protected money, and activated recovery plans are considered before money is treated as safe to spend.

03

Warn before trouble hits

If a later paycheck window may come up short, DragonGuard can show the risk early and help identify money that may need to be reserved.

Safe-to-Spend

DragonGuard does not treat your whole balance as spendable. It looks at eligible cash, upcoming obligations, paycheck timing, protected money, and active recovery commitments before showing what may be safe to spend.

Left-to-Protect

If there is not enough money to protect everything, DragonGuard can show Safe-to-Spend as zero while separately showing what is still left to protect. That helps users see the gap without hiding the risk.

Multiple Paycheck Windows

The danger is not always before the next paycheck.

A user may look safe until payday, then get hit with a bill that the next paycheck cannot fully cover. DragonGuard is built to scan ahead and surface that risk earlier.

Current Window

Looks at what must be protected before the next expected paycheck.

Future Windows

Checks upcoming bills and income timing after the next paycheck too.

Reserve Awareness

If a later shortfall appears, DragonGuard can show that money may need to be reserved earlier.

Recovery Engine

Recovery is planned without crushing Safe-to-Spend.

If a user is behind, DragonGuard can track recovery items separately from everyday spending. A recovery item can stay in awareness mode until the user activates it. Once activated, the approved recovery amount becomes a protected obligation inside the applicable paycheck window.

User Control

DragonGuard suggests. You decide.

Recovery suggestions and extra payments do not automatically reduce Safe-to-Spend unless the user approves them. This helps keep the protection view clear while still giving users a path to catch up.

Built for real life, not perfect budgets.

Paycheck-aware

Built around income timing and paycheck windows.

Bill protection

Shows what obligations are protected or at risk.

Future risk

Looks ahead for shortfalls before they arrive.

Recovery support

Helps users catch up without losing control.

Planned Roadmap

AI-assisted explanations are planned.

DragonGuard is built around a deterministic protection engine first. A planned AI layer may help explain engine-generated outputs in calm, simple language, including Safe-to-Spend, paycheck-window forecasts, future shortfall warnings, and recovery prompts.

AI is intended to improve understanding. It does not replace the protection engine, move money automatically, or act as a financial advisor.

The goal is simple.

Help people stop guessing, see what is protected, understand what is at risk, and spot future trouble before it becomes an emergency.
